Play School
ANGELHEART PLAY SCHOOL
is one of the leading Kindergarten Play home and Nursery Schools in
Bangalore. First and foremost we teach the children the importance
of living a Godly life. We rely on the Bible to teach the children
great values of Faith and Love.
Mrs.Asha Cheriyan is the Principal and Director of the Play School.
She is a Science graduate and a BEd Rank holder from Mangalore
University.
Our speciality is we have various playing equipment and efficient
teachers to teach the children.
Since our aim is All Round Development of the child i.e. Physical,
Social, Emotional and Intellectual development. We have equipped
ourselves with equipment and materials both indoors and outdoors to
fulfill our aim.
As the name ANGELHEART PLAY SCHOOL depicts the way of learning is
through play. Each child has inherent qualities and we provide the
conducive environment to unfold the qualities. Play is the natural
characteristic of the child and we at ANGELHEART provide a number of
activities and play materials for the child to explore, experiment
and learn through play.
2 to 6 years being the most impressionable age in a child's life,
anything learnt at this age gets deeply embedded, so we provide rich
experiences.
We have adopted Montessori method as well. The specially designed
Montessori materials and efficient teachers help in training and
enhancing of the child's cognitive, motororial and sensorial skills.
Each child is unique, so we pay individual attention to each child's
needs.
Thus the child through play enjoys himself and learns, which will
bring about his maximum development and he/she is ready to face the
complex world around him.
Apart from academics we give a lot of importance to extra curricular
activities and celebrations.
Extra curricular activities
ANGELHEART PLAY SCHOOL In the 1st term we take the little ones for a
Picnic - an idea of fun and learning. We also celeberate the
festival of Rakhi where we teach the children to love and respect
one another as brothers and sisters.

fireworks and the children enjoy the light show. We also celebrate
Children’s Day with Fancy Dress Competition and party.
We end the 2nd term with a Christmas Party. We organize a joy ride,
goodies and snacks. We teach the Children why Christ was born in
this world to give himself to save the world.

children enjoy the colours.
At the end of the 3rd term we have a Graduation day that's when we
say Adieu to our little children.

1. Positive attitudes towards learning
2. Language development
3. Physical and manipulative skills
4. Emotional and social development
5. Early mathematical and scientific development
6. Skills relating to investigation and enquiry
7. Musical appreciation and enjoyment
8. Health and hygiene
Personal & Social Skills
The children at Angelheart are introduced to playing and working in
groups of various sizes, and helped to develop a strong sense of
self-esteem. We encourage them to help one another and to listen to
each other, and there are times when 2 to 6 year olds all play and
work together. The adults in the environment are also expected to
model positive relationships to the children.
About the World
Children develop practical skills for life, for example, polishing
their shoes and pouring liquids, and learn how to become more
independent in the school environment. We also introduce the
children to the concept of Faith, Love, humility, Charity etc.
through real life stories from the Bible.
Physical Development
Physical development at our stage of the education process is all
about improving coordination, control, manipulation skills and
movement. We regularly provide aerobics, indoor and outdoor
equipment and activities and select the language we use carefully,
when inviting the children to move their bodies.(eg; prepositions,
movement verbs) The children have lots of opportunities to practise
balancing on our beams.
Creative Development
Creativity in a child enables them to make connections between one
learning area and another. This curriculum area includes art and
craft obviously, but also activities such as moving to music or
spoken language and of course offering time for the children to
become engaged in imaginary play, with or without props.
Mathematics
Specific Montessori apparatus helps teach numbers and basic concepts
such as size, shape and colour. Maths is all around us and we take
every opportunity to help the children use and understand
mathematical concepts. For example, days of the week or giving out
one sharpened pencil to each child at the table.
